Mr. Invisible interview on The Nerdy South
Seeing is believing, is quite ironic when it comes to a group that goes by the name, Mr. Invisible, but it is the truth and they are the truth. The Charlotte, NC trio recently invaded Duval County for a live show at TSI Discotheque which had all the elements needed for an amazing Hip-Hop show; dope beats, dope lyrics and a dope stage presence…

Creative Loafing Review: Mr. Invisible w/ Astronautalis & SIMS
Mr. Invisible jumped right in and as always, never fails to grab everybody’s attention and get their bodies rocking. It would be impossible to describe how much talent projects from them. Slinging their bodies back and forth naturally to their beats, Blake and Justin spit rhymes with such precision; they could make the illest MCs look like amateurs…

Marley Wins Battle In Asheville
Marley competed in the Exposure #26: MMA DJ Battle in Asheville. It was held at Scandals on July 29th and had a healthy turn out. Marley went up against several DJs and was… Victorious!
It wasn’t your normal DMC style battle. It was a 10 minutes mix routine. Pretty sweet. I grabbed the rules for the battle off the facebook event page and put them below. Seems like a fresh set up.
This was third installment of the battle series. Apparently, they’re doing more and then putting the winners against each other in a big tournament of champions. Marley will obviously be representing there. We’ll keep you posted when it’s going down so you come out and support.
If ya see him, congratulate him! We’re stoked.
Rules for the Battle:
* The 10 minute mixoff is a free for all, you can play whatever you want. Whoever rocks the crowd the best while showcasing the most skill on the decks is who we are looking for to win
* The event will be judged by a 4-5 judge panel (NO CROWD JUDGING!) which will be compiled of some big name DJs from across NC. They will be judging via a points system which will be broken down into several categories and then tallying that for an overall score to determine the winner of each competition.
* The competition setup will be: 2 Technics 1200s + 1 Rane TTM-56 mixer (and serato attached for the mixoff of course)
