Mr. Invisible, Marley Carroll, and The Good Earth Project all made the cut for the What.cd Vol 4 comp. This was a contest of 100 incredibly talented people with very musically minded judges. Out of the 21 Tracks that were chosen, three of them are repping Charlotte, hip hop and the Mr. I crew to the fullest! Once it’s released, if it’s allowed, we’ll make it available to download for free on the site somewhere.

Tracks selected: Mr. Invisible – Rock Rock, Marley Carroll – Flying Nomura Theme Parts 1 and 2, and The Good Earth Project (feat. Mattic, Ike Turnah, Ill-use, Keyza and Mr. I on the beat) – Play 4 Me

Last night we successfully recorded 7 new videos for YouTube. The first video we recorded was one of Marley glitching “Dirt Off Your Shoulder” by Jay-Z. Its TOO sick. After that, Marley and Me (haha) recorded the “Break It Down” routine. We’ve been doing that for about a year now so that was pretty easy. I think we got it in the first couple of takes. The last video we did was of the full routine of “Bring it On” with all three of us. We were a little worried about how Ill’s mic was gonna come through, but I think it’ll turn out pretty dope.

After we got done with “Bring It On”, I recorded 4 videos that I commissioned for a high school just out of Chicago. The main theme of the video’s is Brooklyn. I used songs from Biggie, Jay-Z and the Crooklyn Dodgers. Keep in mind I made these for high schoolers so they’re not super hard. Non the less, it’s still good music. I might even post the tutorials I did for the kids on YouTube also. We’ll see.

Keep your eyes peeled to the YouTube channel!
